The doctor didn't properly review my case prior to my appointment, even though it was scheduled several months out. He didn't do a physical exam. He dismissed some of the information I gave him verbally about my symptoms, basically by saying he was just going to refer me to another specialist somewhere else, and also by saying, "Well, all kinds of weird things happen after surgery, your organs all moving around..." totally disregarding the level of pain, complications, and new disorders this botched anti-reflux surgery caused me. Following the appointment, I received a message that the doctor changed his mind about the referral to a different specialist because he decided to read my chart history and said he was making the provider referral recommendation based on assumptions, rather than the actual medical information in my chart, which once he read, decided that the referral wouldn't be helpful. So, I waited months for an appointment with a doctor who didn't examine me, didn't read my medical records beforehand, dismissed some of my more concerning symptoms, and made an erroneous recommendation based on self-admitted ignorance of my case. Oh, and in the process of contacting the clinic, explaining the uniqueness of my case, securing a referral from my primary to be seen at this office, waiting months to be seen, before ever being seen, I received a notice that the clinic and therefore my medical files had been hacked. I want to emphasize that I spoke with staff prior to this appointment about all the complications I've had and how I was specifically looking for an involved, curious, compassionate GI doctor to hopefully help me fix some of the damage that was done. And this is what I got. A thorough, knowledgeable, interested doctor is not what you get here. They could have told me to look elsewhere, saved me wasting more time. Instead, they heard how horrible my situation was and had me wait months for an appointment with a doctor who doesn't even review notes before seeing the patient.

Saved My Life
Dr. Slosberg is a very down-to-earth, easy to talk to, doctor. I initially was referred to him for a medical issue. He saw me and after the exam, sent me for blood work and scheduled a follow-up visit. Upon return, he indicated he wanted me to be scheduled for a liver biopsy due to information received from my blood work. The biopsy resulted in the discovery of cancer. Dr Slosberg immediately referred me to the University of WA Medical Center for exam and decision on a liver transplant. This all occurred in 2015. In 2017, I received my transplant and it was successful. It is now 2023 and I am going strong with a well functioning, transplanted liver. If it wasn't for Dr. Slosberg, I wouldn't be here today. I highly recommend him. He is an amazing doctor with great doctor/patient communication skills.

My wife and I are both North Everett natives. We have been very fortunate to always have had great medical professionals.. Our family has lived in Everett for over 100 years and a large number still do. Dr. Slosberg is old school like the great doctors our family has seen throughout the years. HE AND HIS STAFF CARE ABOUT YOU.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The nuns would have given him an A+ and we do too.

Initial office visit Dr. Slosberg assured me he could do a colonoscopy with little or no anesthesia. I told him this was very important to me since the anesthesia makes me very sick. Day of the colonoscopy Dr. Slosberg left the procedure room and the nurse immediately gave put me out with sodium pentothal. Completely out. I never saw Dr Slosberg after the procedure. He was running late that day, maybe over booked, another doctor may have done my colonoscopy. Very sick. Do not recommend.

Colonoscopy today. Very sick from the anesthesia. During the initial office visit I informed Dr Slosberg that I don't do well with anesthesia, and he assured me he often preforms the procedure without using anesthesia. Today Dr. Slosberg left the room before the procedure and the nurse immediately injected me with sodium pentothal. I did not see Dr. Slosberg again. I have a feeling that a different doctor preformed the procedure. Consent form implies another doctor may do the procedure.

I had acid reflex for a while, Dr Slosberg did an endoscopy on me and he said there was nothing wrong with me. He sent me home with no answers, no advice, no follow up appointment, but yet I still had the issue. Very unprofessional. I called twice to find out what to do and he told me to go see another specialist, really? how incompetent....He should of done a colonoscopy as well. He didn't care. Because of this I ended up in ER with bad colitis and a perforation of my colon. DO NOT RECOMMEND...
