Worst dr experience I've had in San Antonio, my son went it with VERY bad conjunctivitis and he didn't even looked at his eyes, just prescribied antibiotics and get him tested for covid and flu. He left in less than 5 minutes and then after waiting a while for someone to come swab him for the tests, someone finally shows up totally no unaware that tests needed to be done.

Methodist children's hospital needs to fire this jerk. We just left the ER and when be came into the exam room he maybe stayed a total of 3 or 4 minutes. Then he calls out the tests and practically throws the paperwork at me. I never once spoke one word of any other language other than English so he puts up his fingers and makes a 2 and a 0 for 20 days of antibiotics. When i asked about the cough which was why we were there he said that he takes dimetap so for my son to take it too. HORRIBL

Worst experience. He had no desire to actually help my child. He shrugged his shoulders when I told him why our doctor sent us to the ER and said “I don’t know what we will be able to do.” Discharged us with a dx of something so far out of left field and NOTHING to do with why we came in. He didn’t do any testing minus a urine test, wouldn’t even do blood work. He likes to shrug a lot and gives a lot of “I don’t knows “.

Dr. Edward Porrata is a "muy muy" arrogant doctor who REFUSED to order an x-ray on a child who almost died very early in infancy. It was downplayed like "that was long ago". My daughter isn't even a year yet. My pediatrician even called him directly. He still said no. We drove 40mins, paid 300 bucks for a dose of meds and bad attitudes. If this guy actually read a medical journal, he'd know that an assault to the lungs at an early age is a 30 % risk for asthma. Didn't know what WARI was. SAD!
