Great Doctor
I have been coming to this health facility since my children's birth - 2009. Doctor Pont is one of my absolute favorites. Hes thorough, shows great concern, and patient. He addresses every issue And discusses treatment and options with you - not over your head. I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Pont. I gave only 4 stars because if you are that person who prefers to see a specific doctor, you will have to schedule further out to see one of the best!

Being in the healthcare field myself for 20 years, I was astonished how he addressed my child’s weight. If you are going to talk about BMI, explain it. Not just say it’s high and not healthy. If you are that concerned about his health, take a minute to ask the parent if there are any underlying conditions before chastising. Maybe Dr Pont was having a bad day. It was prevalent with my son, born and raised in the old south where yes sir, yes Ma’am, excuse me and pardon me are still preferred. Being a new 12 year old kid to the block, instead of asking him not to address him as Sir. He preferred Doctor. Pompous much? With that being said, you can rest assured, you lost a customer and possible a few more if the read this. You should be ashamed of how you treated him and the scold an older gentleman who came in to administer injections in front of a child. Incredibly uncalled for and a total lack of common sense especially in the presence of a child. Step up your game or step out. Read Less Submitted Sep 15, 2022

It's not enough to say 2-3 sentences for Dr Pont. He has been our kids pediatrician for over 15 years and he is not just an excellent doctor but a great person who always makes kids and parents feel comfortable and less stressful.

Dr. Pont is an excellent doctor. He diagnosed a rare emergency illness for my daughter, which prevented a serious life-threatening situation. He's very perceptive, calm, and thoughtful with his patients (and their parents). He's never made me feel ridiculous or over anxious with my questions or in bringing my kids in when I thought something wasn't right.

We have been with Dr. Pont since the day my son was born almost 11 years ago. He is always prompt, always courteous, and listens to all of my concerns. I know many friends children whom are prescribed medicine as a cure all whether it is truly needed or not. Dr. Pont does not follow that road, and only prescribes when truly necessary. We have since moved further west, but we will still drive almost an hour for Dr. Pont because we trust his expertise and judgement.

Dr Pont has misdiagnosed my children 3 times. The most recent occurrence, he sent my son home saying he looked great. Uncomfortable with that diagnosis, we immediately took my son to an urgent care where he was tested and diagnosed with influenza and an ear infection. Both diagnoses were missed by “Dr” Pont. When confronted with the seriousness of the matter, Dr Pont was very cold and unapologetic. How is he still practicing? So sad. I have 4 other children at home that could have been infected
