Dr. Lee ignored records for recent colorectal surgery done out of state, setting them aside unread. Instead, he conducted an unnecessary exam, found nothing, but still billed Medicare at high expense. He also recommended repeating a recent colonoscopy without explanation; without my informed consent; and without reviewing alternatives, medical necessity, and risks and benefits. In the room only 15 minutes, but billed Medicare for 45 minutes. Very much a careless proceduralist in a rush. I later complained to Medicare's Quality of Care Department, which offers peer review of the records.

5 stars for Dr.Lee.. I had made an appointment with him after a neighbor had the same problem I had and referred me to him I was so happy he did! A day before my appointment I called to tell the office I couldn’t make it because I was in so much pain and Dr. Lee said to go to the E.R. Right away. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days with diverticulitis and 5 weeks later had to get a sigmoid collectomy . Dr. Lee was kind , compassionate and very thorough!

I work for a personal injury law firm, specializing in medical malpractice. We learn who the good doctors are...Dr. Lee, chief of surgery is certainly one of those excellent surgeons who you would want operating on you. He is very kind, listens and has good bed side manner which isn't the most important thing to me but it helps make you feel comfortable. He removed my gallbladder 5 days ago 6/26/19 and I am typing this review from work 7/1/19. After day 3 I started to feel better & did this with no pain meds at all. Looking forward to seeing Dr. Lee 7/11 for my post op, he is wonderful & I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr. Lee from the bottom of my heart for taking care of me. - Lindsey B.

Dr. Lee has always been up front with me no matter what the news of my health was. His bedside manner is terrific and I have the utmost faith in him and his work. Unfortunate for me that I have to go in for a follow up surgical procedure but I would not want anyone other than Dr. Lee to perform it.

Dr Lee saved my mother’s life. His kindness and compassion are evident in the amount of time he spent explaining in terms Mom could understand, what her options were and how he would do the procedure. Mom is in her late 80’s and Dr Lee did such an excellent job removing the tumor and rejoining the colon, that she was able to resume normal functioning in less than 2 days. It was an absolute miracle!

Best man for J-Pouch surgery. He did a complete proctocolectomy with J- Pouch on me in February 2002. July 2002 I had complete blockage from scar tissue and he did that surgery also. Total of three surgeries. His PA was awesome too. I loved them all. Explained everything and I had wonderful care before & after surgeries. I now live in Fort Myers FL and I fear having another blockage as I've been told by my gastrologist that he is not pleased with the surgeons there.

Nearing the height of Crohn's disease, without any non-surgical treatment options remaining; I was referred to Dr. Lee. He answered a plethora of questions I nervously spouted off, and told me that he would do whatever he could to help me to feel better. What more can you say about someone who is responsible for saving your life? I have the utmost gratitude for Dr. Lee and his wonderful staff. Although, surgery was not a cure, I am forever indebted to him for giving me the gift of life.

Dr. Edw Lee one of the best ! Before my major surgery I researched doctors who specialized in this field. He was rated tops! His expertise, kindness & concern impressed me. Although my body decided to cause some complications, Dr. Lee followed & solved every problem. I think of him as my friend. Can't say enough nice things about Dr. Lee, Marcia Gosselin-Bain
