Dr Ed and Isabelle made me feel like family on my first visit as my hands were shaking to even fill out the initial paperwork.

Unprofessional session and extremely insensitive to touchy topics

I thought Ed was a terrific guy. I became a patient last year, after I wound up in the hospital 11 times with a disease no one could diagnose. When you're sick with fever, nausea, and pain every day for months and are convinced you're dying, you start to go out of your mind---especially when they don't know what's wrong with you. (In my case, it was Lyme disease.) Ed returned all my emergency calls almost instantly and really went out of his way to get me medicine right away. I'd recommend him.

Dr Latimer saved my life 26 years ago and since has helped many friends He is a brilliant , kind and compassionate psychiatrist and a wonderful person. He is the real deal and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Latimer and his staff are exceptional. In terms of knowledge, he is one of NJ’s top doctors and has been recognized as such. He is able to assess a person’s state and offer the necessary treatment for a quick recovery. The office staff is pleasant, professional and always submit claims quickly and error free. It helps to have such caring & compassionate people in your corner when dealing with any major illness. Thank you, Dr. Latimer & staff, for all of your help & support over the past 14+ years.

For many years I suffered from disturbing mental thoughts Three psychiatrists gave me no relief or diagnosis. Fortunately my PC recommended Dr. Latimer to whom I owe the quality of life he opened up to me which still continues. His diagnosis was spot on and early on. He's the most experienced in his field and also shows the human, compassionate side of himself. I've relocated out of state and will always be most grateful to him for his expertise (no more thoughts) and helping me accept myself as I am. My life is happy and I'm at peace.

Dr. Latimer is caring, empatheic and extremely competent. He is also the best in psycholpharmacoloigy. He is a genius about which drugs to use and drug interactions. He is highly responsive, which is super important in a psychiatrist.

Dr. Latimer is amazing, and I cannot imagine a psychiatrist better. I am a student of a Masters program for Healthcare Administration. I have been working as a paralegal in medical litigation, and am more than familiar with the inner workings of the healthcare industry, I have been under psych care for 15 years, but after i saw Latimer, he immediately re-diagnosed BP II to BP I, and switched me to meds with less side effects and vasly greater results.More to say but out of characters. I was quite surprised to see Dr. Latimer w/ only 3 of 5 stars here. If you choose to become his patient,consider yourself extremely fortunate!You will not regret it.I've seen half a dozen Psychiatrists in my 38 years and no one has guided me through some of my darkest hours like this man. He is highly intelligently, not quick to prescribe, and genuinely cares about his practice.His rate is testament to this, and he's the ONLY Psychiatrist who's made NJ's Top Docs all of the last 10 or 15 yrs!
