Dr Lai performed cataract surgery on my eye with excellent resultsVery well organized in conjunction with his team

I had a subconjunctival hemorrhage (blood vessel broke in the eye) and didn't heal after more than a week. Therefore, I made an appointment to visit Dr. Lai. His staffs did many different procedures before Dr. Lai see me on the appointment. He detailed me the results he gathered and told me that my eye hemorrhage will be recovered within 1-2 weeks. He also also made a follow up appointment.I just finished my follow up appointment on 31Jul2024 and my eye was totally recovered based on his diagnosis. He also warned me the hemorrhage may re-occur. Based on my interaction with Dr. Lai, he is a very professional physician. He cares his patient from his heart. Because I am 69 year old, the routine test procedures from my visit to Dr. Lai indicated that I might have minor cataract. He actively extend his care via to make an appointment to visit his colleague. I feel very fortune to have Dr. Lai to take care my vision.

Dr La was recommended by another eye surgeon. My cataract surgery turned out great and was done in a new lovely out-patient facility. He is very quiet but nice and very respectful. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Lai was excellent. He was most professional, very polite and explained everything in great detail. I only regret that I did not know him before my prior eye surgery where several things went wrong.

Dr. Lai has been my opthamologist for nearly ten years. In addition to his strong points as a physician and diagnostician, Dr Lai is extremely accessible and responsive: If I call him and leave a message, he invariably calls me back within a few hours. When he prescribes medicine, by the time I take the subway home, the medication is available at my local pharmacy! Finally, I trust Dr. Lai as a first-rate physician and as a commendable and accessible human being! I thus recommend him very highly both as an excellent opthamologist and a warm, friendly, and accessible human being! Five stars all the way!

Easy and pleasant to work with. Communication was easy and explanations were direct and specific. An overall pleasant experience.

I have always found Dr Lai to be very through. I have been seeing him for 3 years. He is excellent at explaining thinks. I have always found the staff to be be very efficient.

Was more concerned about his reputation than my eye. Strung me along for over a month and, when his office did not send the required surgical info, I got the hint he did not want to do cataract surgery on my eye. He should have been up front about it!
