When I was diagnosed with uterine cancer, I was terrified that I was going to die and leave my two young children. Dr. Jimenez performed my surgery and ensured that he had removed all of the cancer. I appreciate that he took time to visit me while I was in hospital and cared enough to schedule follow-up visits. One thing that stood out was the fact that he even wheeled me into surgery. Thank you, Dr. Jimenez for that added human touch!

What a wonderful, compassionate doctor! My gynecologist referred me to Dr. Jimenez when I was diagnosed with a large pelvic mass. He scheduled me for a hysterectomy/debulking for 5 days after my first visit! Upon operating it was found I had a rare cancer that made the surgery 3 hours longer than expected. Thank goodness Dr. Jimenez was familiar with the particular condition. My recovery was fantastic, I didn't even need narcotic pain pills. He referred me to 3 other doctors and all of them have also been empathetic, SMART and compassionate. I feel very lucky to have him on my care team.

Had hysterectomy September 7 and all I can say is woww!!! it was a great experience he did the robotic davinci surgery !! the recovery is goin well but I just wanna say what a great job dr Jimenez did from start to finish im happy with my level of care he has an amazing team they are all caring and sweet!! I know I made the best decision in choosing dr Jimenez for my surgery!! he was extremely professional and very knowledgeable of all my gynecological needs !! Happy it procedure got rid of my 14 fibroids and adenomyosis and heavy bleeding I am relieved and ready to start living a healthy happy and better quality of life !! I highly recommend him if your having discomfort or bleeding issues hes the man I feel blessed to have had him to do my procedure!! Feeling so grateful ! Thank u dr Jimenez and staff!!

Dr.Jimenez, is talented, knowledgeable and empathetic! He did a perfect surgery for me and I didn’t even take any pain meds after being discharged. He was conservative and extremely extremely skilled. his hands are blessed and I was lucky to find him after really praying.

No one ever wants to need an oncologist but I feel blessed to have Dr Jimenez as mine. I was terrified when I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I’m an RN and have taken care of so many terminal cancer patients so I was afraid of what would happen to me. At our first consult Dr Jimenez immediately helped to calm some of my fears . He is kind , knowledgeable , humble and I really felt he was very compassionate. He explained the surgery that I needed , he gave my husband and I plenty of opportunity to ask questions and encouraged us to call if we thought of any questions after we left . I was so happy he could schedule my procedure so quickly . His staff is also amazing ( nurse Elinor and PA Jamie ) I am still recovering but with the confidence that I am in good hands I highly recommend DRJimenez

Dr Jiminez and staff were wonderful I highly recommend Dr Jiminez his bedside manner is a 10 plus he was so knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know to ease my mind to prepare me for surgery . I truly was in the best care possible .

Finding out I had cancer led me into a state of depression and considerable stress. My gynecologist referred me to Doctor Edward Jimenez who took my case of a rare form of cancer (carcinosarcoma of uterus). I am still alive and well today thanks to his knowledge of diagnosis and treatment, excellent bedside manners and passion to make a difference. This MD IS AN EXCELLENT diagnostician. When I went to his office he took the time to explain my options carefully and I went into the hospital to have a laparoscopic procedure. He found an issue in a different organ that was the size of the tip of the pencil. It turned out to be a low-grade cancer which would have gotten worse if he had not taken the time to look. Thank you for your excellent care and professionalism.

I was referred to Dr. Jimenez for a second opinion. The staff and Nurse Colbert were professional, proficient and friendly. Dr. Jimenez was professional, considerate and showed compassion. He eased my mind and turned what seemed a scary situation in to a very positive experience. Dr. Jimenez listened to my concerns and answered my questions completely. He made me feel hopeful. In the end and after three opinions, I had my surgery with Dr. Jimenez and it was the best decision for me.

Dr Jimenez is pleasant and personable. Almost every visit he has brought in medical students or residents to observe my exams or treatments, which I found very intrusive. When I was diagnosed with a GYN malignancy, he never performed any type of scan, rather just doing quarterly post surgical internals. It did recur, was found by outside treating source, and he begrudgingly ordered a scan at that time. He was not straightforward in responding to additional questions once dx was confirmed.

Hi I was recommended by a friend I was very scared I had a 22 cm cyst I was told by 2 doctors prior I would be cut from my chest down because of the size so I went to him for a consultation he was very serious about the size gave me no promises but did the best job a doctor could ever do for a scar o had surgery June 14 2016 you can hardly even see the scar already it was the most amazing scar I ever saw if you have to have one he's the doctor Allison burdner

I was referred to Dr. Jimenez for a large mass near my ovaries. Needless to say I was distraught knowing that a full hysterectomy was going to have be performed, but Dr. Jimenez was amazing. He was professional, calm, reassuring, and I knew that I was in the right hands. I felt confident that I was going to have the absolute best surgeon for this procedure and he certainly was. Should you ever find yourself in a position that you require a gynecologic oncologist, then definitely select him.

Dr. Jimenez is exceptional! He is an extremely patient and kind doctor. About a year ago Dr. Jimenez removed a uterine fibroid during a robotic procedure. Prior to surgery he thoroughly explained what the procedure entailed and possible outcome. I have consulted with him twice since and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his wonderful efficient staff.

Dr. Jimenez was a God send to me! He handled my case in a professional, expeditious manner. He listened to me and addressed all my questions and concerns so that I felt comfortable the day of my surgery. I can happily say that I am almost one year cancer free thanks in part to Dr. Jimenez! I am grateful that I did not initially seek care elsewhere as the team at Winthrop provided me with an accurate diagnosis. It was the place for me to be!

Dr. Edward A. Jimenez is an *ANGEL*! He is an Gynecologist-Oncologist who treats you like a person. He does not look or speak in a intimidating manner. He is very humble,very intelligent, sweet, wonderful, caring, patient and he explains everything in a calm way. Plus he doesn't rush you. Dr. Jimenez answers all your questions and makes sure you are at ease before performing any surgery/procedure.
