Competent, caring, progressive, out going
Edward Jernigan is an excellent Orthopaedic specialist. He diagnosed the infection in my elbow and performed the needed surgery at Panther Creek. He did caring follow up exams.

Great bedside manner and caring
I saw Dr Jernigan again for my arthritis,bone spur in the left thumb area. In addition my right hand thumb area starting same symptoms. He had it x-rayed and confirmed the arthritis. He gave me two steroid injections and ordered me two different type thumb braces for both hands. These provide wrist support too which will help with prevention of breaks with the osteopenia and weakness in them. He also took the time to advise on another issue unrelated. The staff was great and helped me to my car with a wheelchair as my legs were exhausted from a long day of walking. Thank you Dr Jernigan
