Aftermath
Dr. Holland told me I had MGD after examining my eyes pre-surgery for cataracts. I had never heard of MGD. He said it was dry eyes. He then left the room. Surgery was scheduled 7 months later. Because I wasn't better informed about this debilitating dry eye disease I've been suffering with it for almost 2 yrs. I have since found out that treating this MGD before surgery would have helped my eyes immensely. This has become very expensive monenterially and emotionally. Get a doctor who takes more time and effort to help you in all possible ways..

BEST OF THE BEST
Sometimes the wait is long but Dr. Holland is in high demand! Been with Dr. Holland for around 20 years, I am fortunate to have THE LEADING professional in his field. I appreciate his personal touch in our conversations. (GO BIG BLUE). Sometimes when the mood is different, l always wonder what his day has been like. I recommend Dr. Holland to all who ask and have had friends use him also. They are glad they found CEI and Dr. Holland.

The Best There Is
I’ve had cornea transplants in both eyes. It has been a long process, but I’m glad I’ve been able to go through it with Dr. Holland. Dr. Holland is an excellent physician and surgeon. Equally important, Dr. Holland explains each process in the step throughout the lead up to surgery and during the recovery. He always takes the time to answer any and all questions I have. He also has a fantastic staff and facilities. Dr. Hollon is the best there is.

Dr. Holland
I’ve lost vison in my right eye due to a firework. Dr.Holland has yet to give on me. We drive from wisconsin to see him and do not regret it. He gives me hope and always explains everything well. Great guy that cares about his patients, and is yet to believe to get vison back in my right eye coming up in the next couple months.

CEI / DR Holland
I am forever grateful to all the staff at CEI & Dr Holland for all my care. I've had a severe Cornea infection & almost lost my eye, but Dr Holland was able to save. All the staff & Drs are friendly & caring to everyone who comes to CEI. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you CEI & Dr Holland!

Appointment was for 10:40. My name didn’t even get called till after11:30. Was taken back moved between two technicians then back to waiting room then believe everyone went to lunch did not get called again until 1pm talked with a technician waited another 15min for the doctor. Had less than a 5min conversation with the doctor. Feel he was rude and not even interested in me or my concerns. 3hrs to see the doctor for 3min.!!

Dr. Holland is very knowledgable and highly skilled in what is the best care for his patients. He is thorough in explaining what to expect pre-op and post-op and willing to answer questions and ensure you understand. I would recommend his care. There are are a couple of suggestions for improvement. The late appointment times and long wait times are inconvenient due to having to drive 270 miles round trip per visit. Early morning appointment times (7-8 am) would help alleviate wasting a whole work day for appointments.

Dr. Holland is the best eye surgeon I have ever met. His care and compassion for his patients shows in how he cares for each one. I know people from all over the United States of America come to see Dr. Holland because he is considered the best in the country. I would never trust anyone else except Dr. Holland to perform surgery on my eyes. If Dr. Holland can't do it. No other surgeon in the country can.

Dr Holland is THE BEST Dr ever! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind and has great Techs and great office personnel. He is always willing to listen. If I had to suggest anything it would be to improve on the wait time in the office. He is certainly worth the wait however!

We arrived at 10:30 to check in for a scheduled appt of 10:40. The first assistant was very good and on time. Around 11:15 she took us back to waiting room. We waited until around 2:30 or 3:00 before we saw a lady doctor for about 10 minutes. After another 15-20 minutes, we saw Dr. Holland for about maybe 10 minutes. He sent another assistant to check for any feeling in my right eye. After about 15-20 minutes Dr Holland returned and said there was probably no chance for eyesight. He left and sent another assistant to place a surgical contact on my right eye. After waiting again we stepped out of exam room to search for her or Dr Holland. She said he was in his office so she would check. He finally returned close to 4:00. He said we needed to find someone to monitor my . care. After pressing him he finally gave us name of dr he trained. We were there from 10:30 to at least 4:00, which is very poor service for giving an hour to an hour and a half assessment.
