Does not listen, rushes, dismisses
I agree with everyone who commented on the fact that you are rushed, he does not listen, and even once he gives you a diagnosis you are dismissed if you have additional questions or concerns. I really don’t want to go back to him. Every experience is like this. Each time I hate the way I feel after the visit and I’ve been seeing him since mid 2015. I’m going to call my insurance provider to see if I can switch to a different specialist. His beside manner is horrible.

Communication Skills
Receptionist was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The lack of communication on the part of the Doctor was disappointing. No explanation regarding my problem, and no explanation of a course of treatment and recovery. In the future I will not use this doctor and practice again. Thank you.

Dismissed and Unheard
Run like HELL from Friedman!!!!!!He is dismissive and does not listen. I felt as though he was more interested in treating the symptoms than rather exploring through additional testing to get to the root cause of what was causing my symptoms. The worse part of his behavior was when he got up and exited the room. I sat there thinking he was returning only to hear him introducing himself to the patient in the room next to mine.

Does Not Listen to Patients
Dr. Friedman is very dismissive of concerns from patients. I would not recommend anyone to see a doctor who does not listen or seen to care when you express your symptoms or concerns . This is often how proper diagnosis is missed.

Friedman will dismiss you in a big hurry...... He is the worst listener. If you describe your pain and symptoms he would say that there are thousands of ailments and he would just have to run tests, then you are dismissed. Does the typical GI tests--- a CT and an EGD. Then, if he sees nothing. You get a stamped IBS and dismissed. Avoid this doctor at all cost!!

Friedman will pawn you off on his nurse practitioner. He is cocky and in such a hurry. Does the typical GI tests--- a CT and an EGD. Then, if he sees nothing. You get a stamped IBS and dismissed. Avoid this doctor.
