I am very disappointed in Dr. Auyang because he gave me an ultimatum about a surgery I needed. He said he would not do a needed surgery for me unless I also let him remove another item from my abdomen. I really hate the UNMH Gasterenterology clinic and the doctors associated with them. If I can find another doctor that listens to me and is willing to help me I will give UNMH another try, but I will probably end up needing to go to another hospital like I've done before to be treated fairly.

Doctor Edward Auyang is the best surgeon and doctor that I have ever met. I had 2 botched stomach in my past in Las Cruces, NM over 5 years ago. Dr. Auyang performed a Nissan fundloplacation redo, redo on me 2 years ago. He practically saved my life. I trust Dr. Auyang with my life! I can tell that he really does his homework and does his best to consult with his mentors to ensure that his patients get the best possible care. I am forever grateful that Dr. Auyang gave me my life back! Thanks

Dr. Auyang performed a Minimally Invasive surgery for me in 2012. The surgery included a hiatal hernia repair and a Nissen Fundoplication. He used only five small incisions. Dr. Auyang's surgical team was superb. He is incredibly precise and detailed in his diagnostic/surgical approach and methods. Because of his incredible expertise, I was able to have a surgery that was rarely done and usually requires a long recovery. My recovery was short and no complications! I'm still doing fantastic.
