Terrible Experience
My husband had 5 large bladder stones. At first Dr. Randrup actually told my husband to roll around the floor so the stones can move and he could pass urine! Can you believe that? We went to the emergency room a few times to get a Foley. This doctor took 2 out in 2 hours then said he had to go back in later for the other 3. In between he went home to Portugal and left my husband with a catheter for 3 more weeks. Upon our follow up reviews I told the nurse to check my husband bc he was having fever and chills...there must be infection. They wouldn't check him for that. Soon after visiting our primary care doctor we found out my husband had sepsis. We had treatment with very strong antibiotics .During all of this he needed something done to his enlarged prostate to be able to pass urine. We found another urologist to give us a Green Laser Turp....good for a while but only lasted 5 years. But better than what Dr. Raindrop would do. We found another urologist. We never went back .

I went to see Dr. Eduardo Randrup, MD for a possible prostate problem. I am 78 years old so such is not an unusual concern. I have had several meetings with Dr. Randrup and none have been rushed and I had all the time I needed in every appointment to get my questions and concerns answered. He is very knowledgeable and especially concerned with me as a patient and a human being. To put it in the vernacular, Dr. Randrup has a marvelous bedside manner and I believe it is sincere. I rank him in the top two surgeons of the many I have had. I stopped counting at 23 major operations. At this point, we are simply monitoring the situation, but we both know what must happen eventually.

I was a new patient and I had a 8 am appt. Dr. Randrup didn't come in until about 815 and then proceeded to rush out about 15 minutes into the appt after someone knocked on the door and opened it slightly. He never explained side effects of the injection I was going to get or the length of time I would be on the medicine. I felt as a new patient I should have had a more through meeting.

Dr. Randrup is very personable and listens well to the patient. I did not feel rushed when explaining my chief complaints. I felt at ease in his professional and capable hands. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the future.
