Doctor Berates and Dehumanizes patients
My mother in law is a patient of Dr. Nepomuceno. She has not been to see him for a while and now I know why. The wait was extremely long. After waiting hours to see him, he disrespected and belittled her like she was a child. He showed no regard or respect for her being a disabled senior citizen with mobility issues. He treated my mother in law like she was garbage. He chastised her and told her that she was a waste of his time. In all my years I’ve never heard a Doctor being this disrespectful to a patient. He is absolutely horrible physician, needs lots of training on how to be compassionate towards other humans.

One of the best I've found
I was one of Dr. Ed's patients for 15 years. He was also the Dr for many of my family. The only reason I left is because I moved out of state. Truth be told he does overbook and sometimes it's a long wait. Yet he finds time to fit you in when needed. He's a great doctor, if you're honest. He takes you seriously and will leave no stone unturned to find answers. He has saved my life and that of my husband. My sister as well. If you're looking for a physician to help you figure out what's wrong, he's it. If you're just shopping, pass him by. He can tell the difference. I wish I had a Dr Ed where I'm at now.

I have no clue how Dr. Ed got those bad reviews but this man is one of the most thorough doctors I’ve even been to in my 40 years. I’ve been a patient of his for 20 years and he has always been extremely professional. He will not hesitate to refer a specialist if need be. He has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to. He is extremely knowledgeable and I trust his medical advice 100%.

The best, primary care doctor I have ever had. Takes time providing explanations for test results, shows genuine interest in my health and well-being. Makes practical recommendations concerning lifestyle changes. At other practices it always took several months to sew my PCP which has not yet been the case with Dr. Ed in 9 years.

Try listening to this Dr. on his transcriptions? Half asleep? Under the influence?

Great. He was actually was very easy to talk with. He listened to me and showed concern about my medical well being. He did a review of my meds and discovered one was recalled. He immediately rectified the situation. With the number of patients that he has to see for him to recognize that shows that he pays attention to details.

Staff is horrible, they never get back. I'm on 3 business days with no follow-up. They always overbook so it's a long wait. Doctor is curt and doesn't listen to symptoms

Dr. Ed Nepomuceno is one of the hardest working doctors at St. James Hospital. He takes every one of his patient's health and safety seriously. Him and his wife are an excellent team and if you have a complicated issue, know that you are more than likely receiving a second opinion on the spot. I would recommend Dr. Ed Nepomuceno and his wife to all of my friends and family. They know what's best for their patients and they don't just recommend any specialists, they recommend the best.
