Worst bedside manner
Went in with searing abdominal pain. I have chronic health conditions including chronic pain so it has to be pretty serious for me to go to the ER. This doctor belabored the point that his only job is to make sure I’m not dying.When he came out to give results from a CT scan he made a comment that basically judged me for my other health conditions, saying that I must be taking too much medication, when all I did was try to be honest about my medical history. I should have known this would be a bad experience when one of the first things he said to me was “I don’t think your body works any differently from other people’s bodies” as I tried explaining my congenital conditions to him.Avoid Mercy Health ER as long as they employ this piece of work.

Seen in emergency room
Blacked out and went to hospital. Didn’t ask what meds I was taken, just took tests and said “I don’t know what happened today all I know is you aren’t dying follow up with you immediate care for the rest” when asked questions was told vitals and blood is okay I just need to follow up with primary care. May as well never went to the hospital. Obviously everything is not okay if I shown up here. I’ve been to mercy before and was never treated so poorly.
