Dr Brien told me that I should get radiation because "the Pet scan lit up". He said sometimes a biopsy isn't necessary! The next day I saw a neurosurgeon who said not to get radiation because we don't know if it's cancer. I was very upset for the 24 hrs when I thought I definitely had cancer, and I don't think a doctor should ever say that without knowing.

The outcome of the 8 month study surprised me in that my Oncologist should have been able to determine the lump in my L-thigh/femur. My condition was based in tendon/tissue not a mass of malignant cells. Dr Brien is wonderful and looked like he had been in a 4-hour surgery before he hit his rounds in the office.
