Dr. Duyhien Nguyen, MD

Called FHA for help with nose polyps, sinus infection and was prescribed “a verity of medication” per his words. He gave me thing that I told him haven’t worked in the past. I decided to call back and consult another physician. Upon getting a call back, I answered and he was the Dr. calling back. He asked “ why are you calling back again”? I said you prescribed me things that wouldn’t work. I was seeking a solution like antibiotics or steroid of some kind to kick this nasty thing. He said “those are not prescribed for sinus infections”. HE CLEARLY doesn’t care about you, your needs or your quality of life. I would avoid him at all costs.

This doc blew me off. Didn't listen-referred me to the ER.

He made a HUGE error on the prescription for our child by doing the dosing calculation wrong. And the medication was dispensed incorrectly in power form - which is against all guidelines. He has a horrible bedside manner and spent less than 4 minutes with us but 30 minutes with a drug seeking patient in the next room. Run away as fast as you can.

How is this guy even a doctor? Agree with every one star rating here. He was obviously asleep and walked in looking like an intern. Everyone at sequoia has been awesome but they missed the boat on employing this guy. He does not need to be practicing medicine.

Wanted to leave zero but not an option. Saw him at Sequoia hospital ER. He walked in, in such a way I thought for sure he wasn't the dr. He's a cocky, arrogant guy who in NO way gives off a vibe he knows what he's doing. I immediately had warning bells in my head. If he is or isn't competent he comes across he isn't. He never layed one finger on me. I was there for an infected puncture on my hand. He didn't feel my lymph nodes, hold my arm/turn it over to see if there was redness etc. Bad!

Totally agree with Bart Vinh. Not even a tiny bit of compassion (Deserves 0 Stars not even 1star). I had a horrible throat infection. He would not even listen to my symptoms completely and patiently. He misdiagnosed me and denied giving me antibiotics. After a week of ordeal (lozenges,nyquil,dayquil,oral anesthetics) he gave me 875mg Antibiotics twice a day, put me to sleep for more than 12 hrs everyday for a week. Reckless DOCTOR. Most horrible experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

He was impatient and patronizing. He constantly interrupted as I tried to describe my symptoms. As a result I had to seek another doctor at considerable expense and time. Turns out Dr. Nguyen misdiagnosed me and refused to prescribe the appropriate medication, leaving me in severe pain and danger of developing dangerous complications. I recommend avoiding this man until he learns the basics of compassion, patience and some humility.

Very professional. Courteous and treated me well.
