Excellent. Dr. Carlson is respectful, compassionate and listens intently to patients issues. Also very respectful of health conditions and doesn’t talk down to patients. Incredibly knowledgeable.

Dr Carlson is a good physician. I saw him for treatment of my GI condition. He is definitely not patronizing at all. He listened to my concerns and explained all my treatment options. I definitely recommend!

Dr. Carlson is a friendly and thoughtful practitioner. I have had an appointment and an endoscopy. He is straightforward and down-to-earth. *I saw another reviewer give a rating of 1 star on here for Dr. Carlson. This is ridiculous, but in this age of "Yelp critics", entitled people have no shame in anonymously trashing a person or business for the slightest reason. I've seen dozens of doctors in my life, and Dr. Carlson is one of the best, hands down.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Carlson. He was chummy, patronizing, and despite me telling him my primary concerns were below the stomach he told me he "kind of stopped listening after you got below the stomach" because "he's more of an upper GI guy." I understand that lower GI is not his forte and there may have been a scheduling error on the front office staff putting home with him, but I would expect a better bedside manner regardless.
