Spinal Cord Stimulator
Dr.Alcindoor put this stimulator in me and when he tried putting in the leads ,the area was too small so he had to put other leads in and I think he hit a nerve and has caused me a lot of pain.After having it in for 2 weeks and having it turned on,it lasted about 20 minutes and I started feeling like I was getting shocked.So 2 weeks later I had it removed and he didn't put me on antibiotics and I got a bad infection that caused me to have even more pain that I was already in.He didn't like to answer my questions and lied to me .He talked to fast. I was very disappointed with him.I would not refer him to anyone.

Everyone was very respectful and courteous. Dr. Alcindor was very confident, and he made me feel that I was in good hands. He didn’t assume anything, and he was very observant. Jasmine and all of the staff seem to really care for my concerns; they even remember me at registration. The whole experience can be scary, but I trusted Dr. Alcindor to do a great job. There’s some recovery ahead, but I no longer have the issues I came in for. Mission accomplished.

We cannot say enough about Dr Alcindor. Not only is he an outstanding surgeon, but he is compassionate and optimistic. He communicates well with the patient and the family and is always available. His PA Kathy is fabulous as well. I would recommend him and UF Health without hesitation. We were in neuro intensive care for 2 1/2 weeks, and cannot think of any suggestions for improvement. Everyone from the doctors and nurses to the people delivering linen are totally supportive - it is unbelievable

dr. Dunbar is a great doctor, he has the best staff working with him, he did a great job on my back I recommend him to the entire world, please take this man and his staff out for dinner, and I'm sure a pay raise would be in order, when I got at the hospital I could not walk at all thanks to dr. Dunbar I am not able to walk I can bend I'm not out of the woods yet ,but I'm in the healing process, dr. Dunbar can be my doctor for life... thank you to Shands Hospital , thank you
