At 81, my second son suggested I move to this area to be closer to him. This has resulted I needed to find new doctors. As i was having a colonoscopy done by another doctor with Summit health at Bridgewater, I made an appointment with Dr. Barsbay to meet him as my new Primary as well a part of the clearance procedure. I gave Dr. Barsbay 5 stars for his professionalism and I have since sent him some questions via the patient portal. I look forward to meeting with him to deal with some of my other health issues.

Where did patient advocates go?
My husband saw Dr. Barsbay for literally 10 minutes for a physical, which warrants no out of pocket cost. In other words, insurance covers physicals and related lab services free under insurance. Dr. Barsbay noticed a condition on his eye and by way of addressing this, charged him outside of the physical. We attempted various times to get this corrected, but the Dr. refuses to do so stating it was a medical condition, and these are outside of the physical. Since when? He didn't even bring it up to you; you brought it up? Totally unacceptable. I recently saw my PCP; spent about 40 minutes with him and all went well. I even discussed items of concern, which is what you're supposed to do. Otherwise, what would be the point?

Excellent, caring doctor
Dr Barsbay took his time with my very first appointment, listened well to my questions and concerns and explained everything clearly and with care. It was a great first visit.

One of the Best Men's Health Doctors in New Jersey
Dr. Barsbay has been my personal doctor for over 4 years.He is so good that when i moved back to Manhattan, I still travel 100 miles roundtrip to his office for my 6 month visits in Bridgewater NJ
