Had to argue with the call center just to get in. Front office staff was nice but the doctor was not. Dr. Ratner seemed distracted and did not listen. He refused to drain fluid from my knee saying it would just come back. Then he just decided to inject both knees with artificial synovial fluid. I had this procedure done by another doctor and it was a little painful. Dr. Ratner caused more pain than I had ever felt. He seemed unconcerned. After I was feeling faint but neither he nor the staff paid any attention. Where he stuck the needle was a place no other doctor had gone. Been getting these shots for 4 years. Heard he was leaving. Good.

My 87 yo dad fell and broke his hip. Dr Ratner replaced it and now we are 6 months post surgery. He is walking a mile a day without pain. We highly recommend Dr Ratner. He answered all our questions, we never felt rushed, and all precautions were taken.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Ratner for roughly a year. He has always been extremely professional and knowledgeable. When I hurt myself playing sports, he was the first Doctor in mind. We quickly set an appointment and he took a look at my foot. After treatment, I have never felt any better. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ratner!

I was referred to Dr. Ratner after seeing at least 3 other doctors about the pain I was having in my left hip. He was the only doctor that actually listened to me and believed that I was in pain. After talking to him, he had me take x-rays, MRI's, and CT scans. He found out what the issue was that I was having. We decided that I should have a Hip Arthroscopy to fix the cartilage. It's only been a few months since my surgery, and a lot of physical therapy, but I am extremely happy that Dr. Ratner was able to do something about the pain. I am no longer in constant pain, just walking hurt. I am loving my life more than ever now, and actually enjoy my physical therapy now, and can't wait to start being a more active person. I am so grateful to Dr. Ratner, I would highly recommend him to anyone, and the great staff that he has.

Our family highly recommends Dr. Ratner. Our 93 year old Mother was going though her second shoulder dislocation in less than 3 months. Dr. Ratner deftly explained all of her options and complications so that a sound decision by she and the family could be made. A Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement was successfully performed and she is now able to use her right arm again and free of pain. Thank you Dr. Ratner.

Excellent care! Dr. Ratner helped me to a speedy recovery, I had a broken ankle and I knew the bones needed to set correctly otherwise it's a life of pain; so I moved forward with the surgery (a bit scared for sure) but knew it would be best option. The surgery went pretty quick actually it was done before i knew it ! and healed up quickly! It does take time depending on how you heal ( i'm sure the variables include your overall health-diet-exercise ) for me it took about 6 weeks to get back into the groove. at 8 weeks feel great !

Outstanding doctor! My daughter saw Dr. Ratner to get a second opinion regarding knee swelling and pain. Dr. Ratner was very thorough in the exam and after reviewing her records and images, provided us with comprehensive diagnosis and recommended treatment plan. His personal and professional manner were so helpful to make my daughter feel comfortable and confident in proceeding with her treatment and recovery. Today, she has returned to high school pole vaulting and all of her normal activities. If my family ever needs orthopedic care and treatment, Dr. Ratner will be our first choice.

Pleased with staff and the young innovative Dr. Ratner was my surgeon after a terrible wreck I broke my dominant wrist and he put me back together! I am forever thankful to him for the repair on my radial distal head. He explained all the procedure to me and after three follow up visits I’m working to get my wrist back to ??!! If you’re needing a Dr. that has new techniques with minimal scarring but great work choose Dr. Ratner.

My 87 year old mom broke her hip while we were visiting my daughter in Lewisville, TX on Thanksgiving day. Dr Ratner was assigned to her case. Dr Ratner was very informative about her procedure that he was going to do so much so that he drew pictures for us to help us to better understand. After the surgery he took the time to follow up with a doctor in the Katy area for us to use for follow up since we were not from the Lewisville area. He takes his time with patients and family members being sure to answer all questions. He also give his personal email address so you can contact him directly with any questions. I did this and his response was same day. I would highly recommend Dr Ratner for any orthopedic needs.
