Dr. Drew McRoberts, MD

Dr. McRoberts explained everything about the surgery and answered all my questions and my fears. He was kind and gentle and made me feel at ease before and after surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. My recovery was quick with very little pain. He repaired my upper stomach valve and I have not had heart burn since surgery. I had suffered off and on with bad heartburn for 25 years now I am pain free. I would recommend him to anyone as an excellent Surgeon who really cares about his patience and has knowledge and skills to provide the very best care.

As a returning patient, I had a positive experience with Dr. McRoberts five years ago when he performed an inguinal hernia repair. Recently, I required a repair on the opposite side and contacted his office. His staff offered me timely options for an in-person evaluation appointment and were thorough and courteous. Dr. McRoberts remembered me from my previous operation and recalled details of my life. He explained the procedures, expected outcome, and recovery time and promptly scheduled me for surgery in less than a week. I appreciate his personalized care, attention to my specific needs, and friendly sense of humor. Overall, I was thoroughly pleased with my experience with Dr. McRoberts and his staff.

Took excellent care of me in the hospital

My regular Doctor asked which Surgeon I would prefer to look at my condition and I chose Dr. McRoberts. I have always heard good things and my prior experience with him and his staff has always been great. I was quickly greeted and promptly put in an exam room. Shortly after that Dr. McRoberts meet with me and the best course of action was agreed upon. I was one again pleased with my experience and am scheduled for surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Dr. McRoberts was outstanding. He took the time to understand my medical history and then explained my condition thoroughly. In addition being new to town he made 2 referrals to other providers which was very helpful. Best experience I have had with a physician in many years.

We were very pleased with his thoughtful and thorough explanations. Even beyond that he consulted both with his colleagues at Portneuf Medical Center as well calling a pancreatic specialist at the Univ of Utah Medical Center. It put our mind at ease over different issues. Very friendly and patient in spite of being very busy. We consider the business a plus not a negative. The best are worth waiting for.

Best damn Doctor you'll ever find.

I do not disregard Dr. McRoberts intentions, but he fails miserably. He is probably a great surgeon but he is too busy. This past surgery will be last preformed by him and the very last at Portneuf Medical Center. The recovery room after surgery is the WORST with the WORST nurses. I was out the door of the hospital before I was even fully conscious and he never came to see after. He is always too busy and late and full or excuses. He received a 2 because I'm still alive.
