Rushed
Came in with worsening symptoms for pneumonia. Had been down already a while. Dr seemed in a rush. Didn’t listen to chief complaint chest pains and shortness of breath. Turns out per X-ray. Not pneumonia but my O2 drops significantly when trying to rest at home under 90 and my BP goes really high. So I made an ER trip let Md guidance. Still feel horrific with pain. Feels like a knife when I breathe in and I wake up coughing until I vomit. No breathing support offered. Left in tears. Lost on what to do. Still lost. Guess it is what it is. Was already on high dose antibiotics but I got more. I was told I was dehydrated but no fluids offered in Er. Just a bizarre experience and I have a healthcare background. It was like I was talking to a wall. I’m overweight so all other complaints ignored.

No Medication reconciliation without written or verbal instructions, no plan of care or goal setting. Verbal instructions, side effects not verbalized with patient. MD did interact with patient. He was dismissive ofspouse.
