Disappointed this time
I recently Saw Dr Sullivant for something I've never really seen a Dr for. OCD. That's slowly taking over my life in a negative way. I've been seeing Dr Sullivant for years for my previous migraines and I know He's a really nice guy. I just Felt very dismissed with my concerns, he was always saying 'oh my wife does that' or 'I have those tendencies' instead of really isolating my problem and trying to figure out a solution. I also Spoke with him about my on going anxiety and told me to see my primary dr for that but that he'd still prescribe me something. I just didn't feel heard and felt very dismissed. I dont Know if I will be going back to him and I did Not make a follow up appt. It took a lot for me to come to this appt and admit defeat with my mental state and I didnt feel any better leaving. I'm just super disappointed this time around. I hate Saying that because he is a nice guy.

Every single visit I would hear the story of the old farmer and how working daily kept him strong and functioning.... I was a patient for roughly 8 years... im almost 40 and don't feel like those years were spent well. I am in no better condition than I was when I began seeing him for my muscular dystrophy.

Sullivant saw my husband who has MS that he’d be in a wheelchair by the time he was 40. Sullivant also told my husband that if he wouldn’t abide by the recommendations given he would not be my husband’s doctor. I would not recommend him to anyone with MS. My husband will be 51 this year and is walking just fine and still not following the recommendations Sullivant gave him.

I was referred to Dr. Sullivant for papilledema after an eye doctor appointment with my optometrist. Dr. Sullivant spent over an hour talking with both my father and I about what my possible diagnosis could be and what we need to do to find out. He believed I had pseudotumor cerebri, which led to a spinal tap. During this tap, he was so great. He talked me through it and made it easy and relaxing. Before I knew it, it was over. Dr. Sullivant is absolutely GREAT to work with!
