Dr. Douglas Solway, DPM

I made my first appointment to see Dr. Solway a week out with substantial pain in right foot (from previous surgery). I submitted all paperwork prior to appointment via their portal including insurance card which was from Surest (formerly Bind) a subsidiary of UnitedHealthcare. I took the day off from work and checked in the day of appointment, filled out some additional forms and they sent me to waiting room where I waited over an hour. They called me to the registration desk to tell me that the staff took a long time to verify my insurance (which they verified) and then told me that the doctor would not take me because it took too long for them to verify the insurance and they could no longer fit me in the schedule. They apologized but said Dr. Solway was not willing to take me and said they could reschedule a new appointment in a week. I declined saying they lost a patient without even seeing him.

Dr. Solway is extremely unprofessional. My daughter had a toe procedure done and had constant pain afterwards. When I complained during a follow up appointment he aggressively and repeatedly called me "rude" for questioning the work he had done. Stay far away from this "doctor".

I went in for the first and I am pleased! He is awesome and very knowledgeable! He proves excellent care. He is down to earth and will answer any questions you have!
