I saw Dr. Burks for several months. He is very thorough, and cares about his patients. He looks for alternatives to standard RX writing Dr.'s I've seen in the past. Not to mention, an overall Good Guy. He had a great sense of humor and always ended our visits with, "Be Good" or "Go Do Good". Miss him, wish he was still in Riverview.

He gives great medical advice and present other options for my chronic pain treatment, he follows through by answering all my questions and very pleasant to chat with, as he understands my medical condition without me making any demands for medication. He treats me as a patient and I am happy with his service as my doctor, he has a great staff and the office environment is very clean and comfortable. I will recommend him any day for pain management treatment.

If I could give him zero stars I would. He is arrogant, insulting, lacked professionalism and bedside manners. Always rude and sarcastic. No matter how pleasant I try to be he is always insulting and condescending to me. Not sure why but I never hear him speak this way to other patients. I hate to think that it could be racism but when sitting in the room next to the room when he has another patient I have never ever heard him talk to them the way he talks to me. Would never recommend him.
