Thank you, Dr. Pietrucha.
I saw Dr. Pietrucha as her patient, when she was fairly early in her career. I’d been Dx with adolescent-onset hydrocephalus, after full blackout & seizures in HS. 27 in one year. Rather than subject me to lifelong brain surgery & meds, as the all-male Cornell team wanted, she instead began intense monitoring and check-ins. I’m 55 this year. I was Dx with pEDS at 51, but have not had ANY brain surgeries, or meds so far - & haven’t had a seizure in almost 30 years. Thank you for listening to me, and yourself. Thank you for giving me a longer life. Thank you for helping so many others. I hope you make it to 100 years old. Love and thanks, Sharon (Lawley) R.

I have not seen or treated with Dr. Pietrucha in 20+ yrs. But this woman, in 1982, saw me, a 6 month old baby(at the time) with a brain tumor. When NO ONE would operate.... She said, let's go! And 38.5 yrs later. Im still here! With 2 sons of my own. I, literally, owe this woman my life! Dr Pietrucha, u are, and always will be my hero!

Best Doctor Ever. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am right now in life. She helped saved my school life. She helped me with my Learning Disabilities. Now, I have my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, working for a great company! Only issue that I have is that my age makes me be considered be an adult (I am about to be 30) and I need to see a new doctor for the purpose of my continuation of my learning disabilities and my prescription. Could someone please recommend me a doctor as wonder as Doctor Pietrucha? Thanks!

One of THE best of not best in the industry. Always there when we need her help even if we just call to ask a question. She calls from her office at 7pm to speak to the parents regarding the concerns they have. We are lucky to have her as a member of our team, and truly appreciate the input that she has.
