Dr. Donna Powell, MD

Dr. Powell was recommended to me by my colon surgeon. I find her to be very caring, knowledgeable and professional. She has helped me tremendously with my medical issues. I am never rushed and my concerns are always addressed. The front staff is very helpful and I’ve never had to wait to be taken care of. All in all I give 5 stars to this practice from my own experience.

This facility and practice would be best described as a colonoscopy manufacturing plant rather than a care provider. You are rushed into an assembly line of beds and this doctor goes up to each one after another spend less than 5min with you in a bed before you are wheeled off to the scoping room. There they roll you onto your side, put you under, insert the cams and take pictures, and 30 min later you wake up with a couple of papers with photos of your insides and explanations that no one understands. All follow ups are made with a Physicians Assistant and you will not see a Dr at all. There was zero explanation of what anything meant, next steps, and the PA was constantly confused why I was having pain for 4 months following treatment and his recommendation was to take omeprazole and wait. To make matters worse, they do not answer their phone, and you have to drive up there to get anyone to assist you. Stay far far away from this practice and find a real GI Dr who can actually help.

I have been going to Dr.Powell for years…she is amazing! Dr Powell is very compassionate and explains everything in detail…she will answer all my questions and has never been in rush during appointments…I would highly recommend her

Poor service etiquette—no communication or explanation of treatment at all. Impossible to reach post procedure. Not a good experience at all.
