Finally retired...
I had seen Dr. Knupp for years, my biggest problem with her, attitude barely any mention of condition and solution, if any at all, beyond her attitude which was nasty. Had asked her about a handicapped placard, for over five years she never gave me one, the PCP I switched to and the surgeon were shocked, when I told them she refused numerous times, to sign off on it. I should have given her the same treatment, and ignored her gaslighting and increasingly unprofessional attitude.

First time seeing Dr knupp. She was very nice , looked back at my medical history. And gave me a quick checkup. I went in for a clogged ear and she took care of it quickly. Very nice doctor.

She listens, doesn't make me feel rushed, and best of all, lets me decide which treatments/medications I'm willing to use. I'll have a hard time finding another PCP I feel as comfortable with.

Dr KNUPP has ther WORST bed side manor, she comes off cold an uncaring. The floor has more personality than she does! Saw her only a few times an ended up seeing Robin the nurse practitioner for 20 some years. To show how unprofessional Dr KNUPP is she dropped Highmark PPO blue as an insurance an didn’t even notify her patients ! When I went for my records I ask why an was told(by Dr KNUPP herself) that it was UPMCs responsibly to notify HER patients ( most were there for 20 or more years)

Dr. Knupp is holier than thou in all senses of the words. Have had issues with her attitude and lack of caring for years. She was a great PCP not sure why she is so condescending and rude.

I have been a patient in Dr. Knupp's practice for more years than I care to count, at least 25 years. She has always taken time to listen to my health complaints, asked pertinent questions and given me excellent care. I have referred both my wife and my daughter to her.

Dr. Knupp has been my PCP for the last 6 yrs and in my opinion she is one of the best. I am a 57 year old African American Man with a few health issues, every appointment I have had with Dr. Knupp has been more than fulfilling. Dr. Knupp takes her time with me, each exam is thorough, not rushed, everything is explained in laymen's terms, She reviews my Meds, notes from prior visits, and she refers me to Doctors who specializes in whatever issues I am having that's not in her area of expertise.

As my PCP, Dr. Knupp seemed very uninterested and uncaring. Does not listen to your concerns. Twice I went to her for the same issue, she did nothing, I ended up in the emergency room. I have since then changed my PCP. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
