Amazing Ambulatory Peds MD.
Dr. Evans is an outstanding physician that many of the local physicians take their children to see. She has a passion for protecting kids and always goes above and beyond advocating for her patients.

Dr. Evans was filling in for our regular pediatrician at our last visit. She immediately made assumptions about the care I provide for my daughter instead of asking about our routine. She spoke to me in a condescending manner and didn’t allow me to talk. I can handle poor bedside manner in doctors, since I’m a pediatric nurse. Though, I was not okay with how she examined my daughter. She unnecessarily picked my 10 month old up by her arms, causing her to scream, several times. In the 7 years I have worked in the medical field, she is the first healthcare worker that I have seen handle a child that way. My daughter is very easy going and doesn’t scream during simple exams. It was obvious Dr. Evans caused discomfort. It is concerning a provider would pick up a child by their arms, as they should know that can cause injury. There are plenty of wonderful providers within the memorial children’s care clinic , I would recommend a different provider if you are looking for a pediatrician.

I'm using her as a temp doctor until I can find a new family doctor for my family plus our new baby. That being said my experience the two times we have gone to her was bad. She's rude, condescending, doesn't listen and obviously doesn't keep record of anything because of the constant repetition. I wouldn't recommend her for anyones childen.

My children have been seeing Dr. Evans for over 11 years now. In the beginning she was a great doctor. She listened and was obviously caring. However in the past few years we have been experiencing something very different. Before Dr. Evans didn't like to give out a bunch of medication. Now she has become a pill pusher. She has refused referrals allergists and other doctors and just given more meds. Don't go here unless you want your child on a ton of meciations that they don't need.
