Dr. Donna Barrese, DPM

Can be grumpy, but a good Doctor of Podiatry

When I tried to schedule a recent appointment, I was told Dr. Barrese had retired, without notifying most of her patients. She appears to have sold the East Windsor and Lawrenceville practices separately and did not transfer records to the new provider at Lawrenceville. I was told nothing was on computer, everything was on paper.

I saw Dr. Barrese and will never visit again. As a nurse, I was so disappointed to see that we have providers in healthcare like her. Her bedside manner is the worse I've seen in a long time. The minute she walked in the room she seemed to be annoyed by having patients. She never explained what she was about to do during her assessments and when I voiced some discomfort, she never apologized or asked if I was okay. She was condescending and demanding of information. I suggest if you want the care, attention and service you deserve, find another Podiatrist. I sure hope Dr. Barrese gets counseling or finds another vocation because this obviously isn't it for her.

Rude doctor. I've taken my father to see her 3 times. She was consistently rude and condescending. We will not return to her. Dont use this podiatrist.

I always say I will not go back and I end up going back because she’s literally down the street from where I live. But I am finally done! She is always so condescending and never takes the time to explain patiently what your condition is. She is always rushing you and doesn’t show compassion at all. Even talks above you and ignores what you are telling her as a patient. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

The doctor and the staff at the front extremely rude. The doctor is the most unfriendly person ever seen. She and her receptionist talk only about payment.

Dr. Barrese has a terse bedside manner at best. She is annoyed by and condescending to patients. . Her staff, unfortunately, is lacking as well. Doreen, the receptionist, is rude to speak with. Forget about getting her to return calls. It took several calls over several days on my part to get a question answered. It is definitely not an experience that leaves a patient feeling confident in the doctor. I DO NOT recommend her or her office!

Dr. Barrese is phenomenal. I came to her with ingrown toenails on both big toes, which were treated by another podiatrist improperly. Dr. Baresse made my toenails look and feel completely normal again in a short period of time. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time necessary to fix the problem. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
