Dr. Donelle Laughlin, MD

Dr. Laughlin is a beacon of expertise and compassion in the medical field. The depth of her knowledge is absolutely impressive. What truly sets Dr. Smith apart is her unwavering dedication to patient care. She is one of the most caring, empathetic and devoted doctors I know. Her staff is remarkably capable, professional, and friendly as well. Her medical assistants went far and beyond communicating with insurance and I am very grateful for that. I am Dr. Laughlin's patient for many years and I can say with great deal of confidence that her patients are in good hands. I trust her 100% with medical decisions and treatment. She is simply the best.

Initial visit for annual exam as a new patient. Lovely office with individual character, not a cold corporate concrete building. She reviewed my complex medical history in depth & performed a thorough physical exam. Answered all my questions and continued my Rx's for menopause, recommending a DEXA scan as well. Lovely office staff, particularly receptionist and medical assistant. I was informed of the brief delay by the MA. The modest additional annual fee is well worth it, given the amount of extra work that the staff provided (getting a Prior Auth for one Rx) which is not covered by the stingy insurance reimbursement. As a retired medical provider myself, I felt confident in the competent care provided by Dr. Laughlin and her staff.

I have seen Dr. Laughlin for almost 10 years. She helped me get through a very long and stressful fertility journey. I am indebted to her for discovering many issues that made having a successful pregnancy difficult. We now have 2 beautiful miracle babies due to her help and the help of a shaman who does womb clearing. She is thorough and kind but as another reviewer stated no nonsense. She isn’t a warm fuzzy kind of person but she knows her craft and will get to the bottom of your issues no matter how long it takes. I am in debt to her for my sweet babies. She is worth long wait times, her staff is new and not super attuned yet, I have understanding and awareness good help is hard to find, and I would not trust anyone else with my care, her staff is not a reflection of her or her care she provides. Good customer service has been hard to find anywhere since the pandemic.

I arrived early. After 30 minutes in the waiting room, I waited in the chilly, exam room in a paper gown for over 1 hour. No one checked on me. No one said the doctor was running late. NOTHING. I NEVER GOT TO SEE THE DOCTOR. I am appalled.

Dr. Laughlin is amazing. She takes her time during appointments and is always available through the portal. Office staff are friendly and helpful. I have been with her for several years and have no plans to change. I would pay out of pocket just to keep her.

Dr Laughlin is the right combination of compassion and no nonsense. She is a good listener, explains things fully and spends adequate time with you. Her office is small and they are good at returning calls and giving a more personal touch. You will not play voice mail for days on end here when you need something or have a question. I do not have experience with her as a baby doctor, only as a gyn. She helped me through a question of cancer and l'm very happy that I was referred to her.
