Dr. Donato Balsamo, DO

DR BALSAMO WAS MY DOCTOR FOR OVER 20 YEARS. YES HE COULD BE ABRUPT, BUT HE ALWAYS CARED. I WISH HE DIDN'T STOP PRACTICING.

This Dr. is dismissive, condescending, and does not put me at ease. He does not welcome questions - and can make you feel stupid for asking a question. Thank goodness I do not need referrals for specialists. Since I trust my gut and know when something is wrong with my own body, I have found the medical help I deserve elsewhere.

Dr. Donato horrible, horrible physician and a disgrace to the medical profession. His negligence is why my father ended up in the hospital over and over again. The staff is extremely incompetent, and he spends 5 mins max on each patient. Lazy and reprehensible. Stay far, far away!!

I was taught that if you have nothing nice to say about someone than keep quiet. However I feel that when your life is being jeopardized and endangered simply because your doctor failed to send your pharmacy a new prescription for your blood pressure and diabetes Neuropathy a serious problem that should be shared and reported. I notified this doctor that I have only one tablet left of my prescribed medication and that there are no refills remaining, and this doctor has done absolutely nothing about it. I’ve called this pharmacy multiple times to check on the status of my medication because I do not want to have a heart attack or end up dead being without this medication for over a week and I suffer from high blood pressure. No one should be permitted to play Russian Roulette with anyone’s life, health and well-being. I feel that this doctor deliberately refused to send my medication as some sort of sick, and twisted revenge or retaliation because I decided to leave his care.

De. Balsamo and his office are incompetent. Long wait times for procedures. Does not call back after multiple messages left. Tries to get his patients to enroll in his concierge plan for more attentive care. Money hungry?

Only the best. Treats us like his own parents.. very proactive.. love him

Wouldn’t listen to my daughter who was very sick. Wouldn’t listen to me as her mother. She knew it was REAL, she was very sick and he wouldn’t take the time to listen and put all the symptoms together She has suffered for years and treatment was delayed for a very serious illness I’ve never wished karma on anyone until now

Dr Balsamo has been my doctor for 25 years. I am very happy with his care. Definitely a competent physician

He can be very dismissive of your concerns. Luckily, I don't need referrals for my insurance, or I would be stuck with the misdiagnosis he provided me.
