Dr. Donald Wingard, DO

Dr. Wingard has been my Physician for almost 30 years and has helped me through many visits . He has always made me feel as I was the most important patient no matter how busy he always was. He always showed a sincere concern for my visit and somehow remembers previous problems.He has great respect for my opinions ,questions ,suggestions ,fears , and goals . He's an old school type dr. Who sits down and speaks to me as a person . I've had ailments that were very tough to diagnose I felt very assured he did more than just the time in the office but actually researched my problem like homework. I've had times he actually gave me outside the box help in the office during times I was really sick. Many times allowing me to rest after treatment in a room quietly with the light off until I felt better. He helped me find the best medicine that didn't have undesirable side effects that were affordable and still worked . He believes curing an ailment may not always require conventional meds. and helped discover other options. I was able to obtain approval for my service dog thanks to him. I even followed him when he moved out of my local clinic to new office 45 miles away. Unfortunately, currently not being able to see him I've been forced to try and find a new dr. and have had nothing but extreem greef and frustration. Not to mention having to start from scratch with info , testing new patient rules and regs. VERY STRESSFUL and CONFUSING. New phone systems, hours on hold long wait times to see a dr. for 5 min to be referred out to another dr and have to return for another drawn out experience all a month apart . So inconvenient. With many ailments needing rediscovery this is really daunting. We had already covered so much over the years so thoroughly I greatly appreciate a truly Great Dr.. Thanks Dr. Wingard . I wish I was able to keep up with you instead .

Dr.Wingard is an excellent G.P.: he is knowledgeable, well experienced, and up to date on medical information, and has a warm and informative manner. O have been his patient fir about 2 1/2 years now, and am extremely pleased to have his care.

Dr. Wingard has been both mine and my 98 year old mother's for at least 5+ years. My mother does not like doctors but loved Dr. Wingard. I have had the best care under his watchful eye and will not change doctors! His staf is the best, and we enjoy going to see him, which is not often said for a doctor. He spends time with you and asks questions and really cares about your well being!! Thank you for have Dr. Wingard on Humana's list!!!

Dr Wingard is one of the best drs I have ever had . I moved to California And I’m moving back to Las Vegas so he can be my dr again. best care and bedside manner. And he lesson to you . He cares .

I've been a patient of Dr. Wingard since 2006, simply put, he's the best doctor I've ever had. He is knowledgeable but won't overwhelm you with jargon. He treats you like a human being and takes time to listen to what you have to say. Could not possibly recommend this good doc and decent man more highly.

Unfortunately this doctor got the worst customer service I’ve ever seen not the first time that I had scheduled an appointment with the doctor and nobody called me to let me know I cannot come in. every time I call very rude girls on the phone it doesn’t matter How urgent you need to see the doctor it’s always going to be in three month appointment! It’s my primary doctor and the girls decided to tell me 10 minuets before my schedule appointment the he decided not to take my insurance thank you

Dr. Wingard is the most caring and very thorough Physician i have ever had. I have had Dr Wingard as my Dr for many years, When he moved to the opposite side of Las Vegas I was so crushed. I decided after several years of other Drs, it is worth the long drive to have him as my physician again. He had been our Dr for many years in Green Valley. My kids adored him, they are now grown...He listens and is the kind of Dr. that you can totally trust. I feel so lucky to have him as my Dr

My husband & I have been patients of Dr. Wingard for approximately 3 years. We both feel he is the best doctor we have ever had. Dr. Wingard, as well as everyone in his office, is the best you could hope for. We have only 1 complaint. Due to his popularity and the length of time given to each patient, it is nearly impossible to see him more often than once every 3 months. How ever, if it is ok for you to see him no more than this, it will be well worth the wait!

Dr Wingard has been my doctor going on 10 years. During that time I have never once felt like Dr Wingard hadnt done everything in his power to make sure I am at the peak of my health and able to fulfill my duties at my job. He has kept me working when I really need to have a knee replaced. As a small one man business owner the time needed for that would put me out of business and my family in dire straights. Dr Wingard is second to none in his profession and I would recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Wingard has been my doctor for over 25 years. He's smart & caring. He ordered tests for my mother which resulted in the discovery that she had a parathyroid problem. Her other doctors missed it. I highly recommend Dr. Wingard - he's the best!
