Survived An Acute Subdural Hematoma
I had two separate falls: 1) Early part of June; and 2) On July 3. The fall early morning on July 3 was so massive that I had emergency surgery to repair the subdural hematoma, which Dr. Ramberg was my neurosurgeon doing such operation. He's probably been the quietest neurosurgeon I've visited (or has operated on me) because I've had the unfortunate luck needing several neuro specialists over the years since I have degenerative disc disease. My cervical and lower back spine has been fused repeatedly (5x) Ramberg's staff is super nice when I had my follow-up appt to have my staples removed 10 days after my brain surgery. Ramberg was also nice, very professional, and prompt. I don't really remember Ramberg while I was at Sierra Vista/ICU but that's not surprising given all the Rxs before, during, and after brain surgery and, of course, the surgery itself. I actually don't remember Sierra Vista hospital until they moved me to the regular floor. Ramberg is a lovely doctor.

Dr. Ramberg and his entire staff are wonderful. I saw another review that was dissatisfied. I don't know what doctor they went to, but Dr. Donald Ramberg, my doctor, my surgeon and my care-giver is and was amazing. I had to have back surgery. Everything I needed to know or ask about, Dr. Ramberg and his staff were right along side with me and answered all my questions. I never had any trouble contacting the staff or the doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Ramberg for 3 years and intend to keep him in the future. I also recommended him to 3 friends. They all share my excellent and high opinion of him. As far as his bedside manner, I found him to be a great listener and he worked together with me to keep me as healthy as my present medical situation allows. Excellent surgeon, doctor and staff. Thank you Dr. Ramberg and Staff!

Dr. Ramberg may be a good surgeon, but he has very poor bedside manor. He was blatantly disrespectful to my father following his surgery and belittled me when I asked medical questions. I recommend everyone takes their business elsewhere.
