Dr. Don Garcia, MD

Horrible.

Probably one of the most incompetent doctors i have met in my life. Refused to give me a referral to a specialist because he didn’t know what condition i have when he’s the one who diagnosed my condition and I’ve been seeing the specialist for 3 years. He failed to diagnose my pneumonia even though the symptoms and X-rays were available and i was in the hospital for over a week because of this. When i brought this up he only said sorry we all make mistakes. But my mistakes don’t land people in the hospital. Go with someone else.

He spent his time making my aunt repeatedly say "You're the best doctor in the world" and would not treat her unless she said it in the room as well as once she got into the waiting room. It's creepy and gross. He also failed to test her blood sugar levels and blindly decided to discontinue her diabetes medication, which she still neeeds! Do not see this man for any medical help!!

He was condescending, loved to hear himself explain in (over) detail while cutting me off when I asked a valid question. I'm going back to my primary care physician, even if he isn't in my insurance network.

I have never seen Dr. Garcia in my entire time going there. The NP tries her best to take on all of the patients by herself and i know it must be stressful but she really needs more help. It is almost impossible for me to get 60 percent of my non-controlled medications and I still do not know why. The office staff can be rude, bad at answering phones, they never answer their fax machine, getting them to fax medications over is a painful long ordeal. The small parkinglot is a nightmare.

Ever since I see came here never once I see Dr Don Garcia. I don't think he is ever there. Only person we see most of the time is his assistant. She is seeing most of the patients there. Wait time is pretty long 1 hr 30min. Staff are nice but not professional. Office is not a clean environment.
