Dr. Disha Spath, MD

Dr. Spath was friendly and really took time to listen to my mother's complaints. She knew her history well and made a real difference in my mom's life.

Dr. Spath recently misdiagnosed what was quite obviously a simple UTI, causing an unnecessary stressful visit to the ER for my elderly parent. She clearly did not want to deal with anything she perceived as potentially complicated; and was dismissive of any evidence to the contrary. She rushed the patient out of the office without any pertinent testing to back up her dire medical prediction. She appears to be someone who over reacts when she does not want to do any more than the bare minimum, and thinks whatever she says is beyond reproach. This is not a good look for this fledgling primary care provider, who seems to lack basic medical & interpersonal skills.

I had appt with Dr Spath today. I have NEVER done an on-line review before. After my experience with her I had to. I've have battled through various medical issues and severe pain for several years. I will simply say AVOID her. Never has a doctor TOLD me how I feel and do not feel. Never. I could not believe the comments and innuendos this person made to me. I have seen various doctors over the last few years at Latham Int Med and never have I been treated the way she treated me.
