I used to go to Dr. Oberoi but now it's nearly impossible to get an appointment with her without waiting at least 3 months. Save your time and sanity and find another doctor if you can. I scheduled an appointment with her 2 months ago and got a call from her office saying that she's going to be out the day of our appointment and that I need to reschedule. I called to reschedule and she didn't have anything for another 3 months. Her office staff was really unhelpful and it seems like a common practice at her office to schedule patients far out. I'm finding a new PCP!

Calm listener
Mom and I have been patients of Dr. Oberoi for 5 years. She's never been anything but professional. Very nice person with a calm personality. Excellent listener. Quick follow up after tests. Website is great too. Only issue - she let me know it's better to call rather than schedule appts thru the NS website. That way, the correct time will be allotted for appointments depending on the reason to see her. She also gives orders for specialist visits and blood tests when necessary. All normal things, very happy with her. She was recommended by my Gastroenterologist.

Impossible to get appointment. I was seen in ER twice and both times referred back to Dr. Oberoi. Both times I was forced to wait over month for an appointment (even though the Evanston emergency room doctors told me to follow up with Dr. Oberioi within a week). I was given no option to get in earlier and the first appointment was less than 15 mins and so rushed that she didn't even address the knee injury that I was seen in ER for.

Dr. Oberoi has the worst bedside manner I have experienced in the years I have seen multiple doctors. She has no care for the patient, has a tremendous ego, does not listen, rushes through the visit, does not call the patient, is careless about diagnosis and is downright rude. Avoid her at all costs.

Dr Oberoi has been my doc for over two years. She is a very upbeat and caring doctor. She takes time with everyone and she responds quickly. She’s calm and thoughtful and listens.
