Dr. Tebcherany
Dr. Tebcherany considered my health beyond the reason for my referral for iron infusions for anemia - not cancer. She looked for the underlying reason for the anemia. She followed up with labs. Follow-up appointments were prompt and informative. She saw my extensive family history of cancer and immediately ordered lab tests, screening and genetic counseling for potential cancer. She gave me useful advice for monitoring and managing my cancer risk. Dr. Tebcherany is direct, perceptive and compassionate. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Great Doctor!
Although my desire is to see her only once each year to see how I'm doing, I think that Dr. Tebcherany is an outstanding doctor. She's surely quite knowledgeable and easy to speak with at each appointment. She is both thorough and positive in her dealings with patients. I would not hesitate to recommend her, ever.

I will wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Tebcherany.
Dr. Tebcherany took time to explain various aspects of my medical condition and I clearly understood how it was affecting me. She also went over steps I must take to help improve my condition. She was very thorough with the diagnosis and I felt very confident that we will get to the bottom of my condition and cure it. She was very helpful in every aspect. I look forward to the next visit!

Gas Lighter
I was incorrectly referred to her for a preventative masectomy by my OBGYN due to a determination that I’m at high risk for breast cancer. I realized fairly quickly once she came into the exam room, after waiting for her for over an hour, that she was the wrong doctor. She specializes in hematology. But instead of saying something like “I think you need to be seen by one of the doctors in the Texas Oncology Breast Center” she continues to interrogate me on why I am there because my referral was missing information. (My Obgyn called me this week to apologize.) Out of frustration and just wanting to leave the “interrogation room” I started crying. She then asked, in front of her nurse in a very cold way, “are you seeing a psychiatrist for this?” That’s when I ended the appointment and walked out. Needless to say, this Dr needs to work on at least pretending to be compassionate.

So insecure
I had my first blood transfusion at age 4. I have been seeing hematologists now for over 40 years. I have never, in all those years, had a doctor so anxious and insecure about her own competence. You could see it in the way she jumped around and her eyes would dart back and forth. If you asked her a question, she gets immediately defensive. I tried to hang in with her as my other doctors over and over again suggested I move on. I wanted to give her a chance but, each time I saw her, my care and health suffered.

Dr. Tebcherany is a good doctor but is always running late. I have waited 60 to 90 minutes several times to see her. During my last visit she performed a breast exam and pinched my breast in the location of my lumpectomy. It still hurts. I wish there were oncologists in the Oak Hill Dripping Springs area.
