Repeated visits with no actual help or insight as to which medication could be good for me. He convinced me to take the GeneSight analysis, but when I got the results he suggested that I just pick a drug and see how it worked. I'm not the doctor, he was supposed to be. Very disappointed.

I wanted to speak to the doctor about concerns regarding my son, his patient. The doctor told me that he didn't have time to read emails and was unwilling to give me a few minutes of time separate from my son. We have not been back since.

Dr. Patel seems to have preconceived notions of what drug he wants to force down your throat even if you've extensively tried & failed at said drug. I had to drive more than an hour to go back to my old doctor just so I could get my highly effective and common (not to mention generic instead of the name brand junk he was obsessed with prescribing). I have two friends with exactly the same story. Someone needs to rein this guy in.
