My wife and I both went to Dr. Saavedra for years, until we were forced to leave when our insurance changed. He is an excellent doctor and a very nice, jovial, friendly man. We were always happy to see him. Due to his popularity I guess, there were times when the waiting period was a bit long, but the care and attention he always gave made it worthwhile. Absolutely recommend Dr. Saavedra and glad to see that he is still in practice.

My family has appreciated being in Dr. Saavedra's practice for years, and now we are more grateful than ever. My husband was just discharged from the hospital after being treated for COVID-19 there for two weeks. Prior to hospitalization when my husband was sick and isolated at home for a week, Dr. Saavedra monitored him by telemedicine conferences, phone calls, and texts, and answered our family's questions throughout the day and into the night. Once my husband needed to be hospitalized, Dr. Saavedra continued to be available to help our family understand what was happening with the treatment and help me know what questions to ask the doctors at the hospital. Now that my husband is back at home and in isolation again here, Dr. Saavedra continues to check on him regularly. He has been committed and faithful to our family as well as medically current, insightful, and imminently professional in helping us deal with this difficult time. We are so very grateful to him.

Is not good with elderly patients. He said he was surprised to see my dad still alive. Terrible bedside manner. Basically said we should not bother providing my dad care. Very unprofessional with bullying behavior.

Dr. Saavedra is exactly what I want in a Primary Care Physician. He listens well, gives good feedback, is thorough, and makes me feel at ease. He has a great sense of humor and humanity - sharing his mature sense of the human condition. He is not hesitant to request tests as needed and make referrals to specialists when appropriate, but he is not just a traffic cop - writing prescriptions, ordering tests, and referring - like many of his peers. Takes the time to listen to his patients.
