Doctor doesn't keep appointments
Scheduled an appointment two months in advance. Three days before the appointment, staff called and said she'd have to reschedule because she was out sick. I get it. We're all human here! I was rescheduled for three weeks later. three week sickness and no other doctor to fill in... The day of the new appointment, exactly ONE hour before, staff called to say the 'Doctor' had a sick child, called out, would have to cancel the appointment and reschedule again. Wait! What? Sick child? What about a sick patient? THIS is what you signed up for! This is exactly why if big corporations find out women have kids at the first interview, they wont get hired! No way I would ever reschedule with her calling out so much in one month.

Unhappy Potential Patient – Mar 02, 2024

Absolutely miserable experience
I usually don't give negative reviews but this is bad.The office is so disorganized. They can't even refill a prescription, let alone properly communicate proper test results. I waited for over 40 minutes naked when it was 40 degrees outside. She spent less than 5 minutes with me, was rough and rushed with my private parts. Said like maybe two words to me and didn't care about anything I said or any concerns I brought up.

Absolute worst experience ever!
I waited 45 minutes post appointment time and then another 30 in the exam room. The doctor came in and spent 3 minutes and 57 seconds with me and walked out while I was asking a question. I understand delays, but 75 minutes indicates poor administrative practices or maybe she just went in late and didn’t care . The nurse acted like the delay was my fault and rushed me into the exam room only to have me wait another 30 minutes. Not one ounce of care from either, not what you’d expect from female providers. I pay too much for my healthcare to receive treatment like this. Reception staff was rude. Look, I’ve had two children and I understand delays at the ob gyn. But never in my 58 years did I wait this long, in fact I may have waited half this long and received apologies and the doctor still gave me a thorough and competent exam. Don’t go here, I’m terrified by what an OB patient or a patient with serious GYN issues faces.

Do not attend, Horrible Physician
This is the worst gynecologist in Columbia. Do not attend this office or the provider. Dr. Ravenell, has a horrible bedside manner, takes too much time, very unprofessional, does not provide adequate care. This has truly been the worst experience. She is incapable of helping or dealing with women's care. If you are in need of care she doesn't care and won't help you. I strongly recommend not to see Dr. Ravenell or this practice. You will be disappointed and your concerns will not be addressed or answered.

Extremely unprofessional. Got a long side eye and an eye roll when requesting a test that should have been routine, and then she didn't do the test. Was prescribed antibiotics, but didn't have an infection. Poor quality of care with a heaping side of attitude.
