Excellent!
Dr. Shih-Della Penna was the primary on my laparoscopic appendectomy, and while I wasn't awake to see it, my recovery tells me she did an incredible job. She was friendly, listened, and explained everything well, despite her having to come in the middle of the night for the operation. At my follow-up visit, she was just as attentive and friendly.

The best! Dr.Shih is awesome,caring,knowledgeable
Dr. Shih was very concerned about me as a patient and person. She explained options,procedures,post op care,diagnosis very well. She answered all of my questions well in terms I understood. She truly cares about her patients. Always response to messages in a timely fashion. As an RN for over 40 years in hospital work included Operating Room, I have all of the confidence in the world with her as my surgeon. The best I have met in my career!

Saw Dr. Shih for what I thought could be an inguinal hernia. Glad I did. Dr.Shih thoroughly explained in easy to understand terms exactly what my options were. No pressure. Surgery for repair was easy to schedule and I was very happy with procedure and outcome. Her office staff (especially nurse Susan) was very cooperative and extremely efficient. I would highly recommend Dr Shih.
