Psoriatic Arthritis
It takes awhile to get diagnosed for autoimmune diseases. My suggestion is to encourage you to just be patient and keep seeking care until you find the answers!

I am a new patient to Dr. Vradi and found her very efficient and thorough. She knows her subject! I think some patients find her off putting because of her professionalism. She’s not going to be your new best friend. I am very happy with her and will continue toget my care with her

I, too read the bad reviews, but I had a completely different experience with Dr. Vradii. I have Sjogren's Syndrome and most rheumatologists only want to deal with arthritis, not auto immune diseases. She was knowledgeable and thorough, explaining why she was or wasn't doing something and pointing out other aspects of my disease that might be a problem in the future and how we will deal with them when/if something happens. She gave me lots of opportunities to ask questions and left me feeling that I am on the right track with my treatment.

My office visit was the most negative experience I have ever had with a physcian. She was abrupt, judgemental, condesending and very rude. She told me I have psoriatic arthritis. I asked if there was a test to confirm that and she said no ( I later learned there is). I asked her how she determined the diagnosis and she said "because I said so". She also told me that I do not have fibromyalgia diagnosed many years ago because fibromyalgia does not exist. I left feeling depressed. Horrific visit

I read the bad reviews but dismissed them. I should have listened. I went in to see her and I had to stand waiting for her as my back was in so much pain. I had a lot of other symptoms. She never said I’m sorry you are hurting or have any nice comments or concerns. She told me there was nothing wrong with me and I should lose weight... I’m a size 14 46 year old woman. I can’t believe I wasted money to get treated so rudely. Go somewhere else.

Extremely dismissive and callous. If symptomology falls outside her knowledge or understanding she is unwilling to acknowledge it as worthy of her consideration. Instead, there is a clear indication that she does not believe the patient. A very careless attitude in a field that requires a greater degree of investigative skill and attention than many.

Diagnosed my rare disease after many doctors missed for decades. Referred to Boston for confirmation. Very informative. Kind, thourough. Takes the time she needs. Sees me promptly for flare symptoms. Best rheumy I've seen. Terrific staff. Recommend highly!

In addition to the office exam, Dr Vradii used recent bloodwork from 2 other physicians that was available on her computer, explaining each element that was positive for my condition. I am satisfied that she is a knowledgeable and up-to-date user of evidence-based medicine. Also, she determined that my stress levels are likely to be having a negative effect on my condition. She gave me suggestions for reducing my stress levels which I have adopted. She was not hurried; the exam lasted 1 hr.

HORRIBLE doctor!! Cold, callous and dismissive. She talked down to me like I was I knew nothing about what is going on in MY body, and acted like she was the only knowing voice of reason. I felt very defensive around her and had my guard up because of her abrupt and peremptory manner. I do not believe she cares at all about her patients, and am wondering why a person with such an uncompassionate attitude chose such a sensitive and complicated area of medicine to practice. Stay away!

Worst doctor I have ever been to. She was very abrupt and hurried, and her bedside manner is very cold and disconnected. I do not believe she cared at all about me as a patient. She dismissed everything I was telling her and would not validate and of the health issues I was describing to her. She even tried to un-diagnose me with Fibromyalgia, which over a dozen doctors all agree that I have. She literally told me that I have no reason to feel the way I feel. I do not trust her medical opinion.

No bedside manner, doesn't take time to review your file before coming into the room over 45 minutes late (with no apologies). She orders expensive lab tests with no explanation.

Dr. Vradii is very kind and she took the time to review my complete medical history and discuss my medical issues before deciding on a treatment plan. I felt included in the development of the plan. I didn't feel rushed. I was confident in her skills.

Dr Vradii was abrupt and did not listen to my symptoms. In a hurry. Stated that my symptoms were Fybromyalgia which I have managed quite well for 26 plus years. My hair was falling out and fingernails were falling off. I felt like my body was poisoning me. I left and never returned to see her.Three months later after seeing Dr Vradi I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis and I am currently being treated with Humira and Lefulmonide. I have a wonderful Rheumy in Lewiston and he is excellent !
