Dr. Dhruti Patel, MD

I rarely leave reviews, so trust me when I say go see any other doctor.Dr. Patel was 20 minutes late to my appointment, didn’t review any of my previous labs, barely made eye contact, let alone talked to me, and practically ran out of the room. I didn’t have a chance to talk to her at all and she definitely didn’t try to help me. Then, as I’m exiting I hear her yell “if I run I can still make it to my workout class”. It was clear that she cut my appointment short to go workout. I was rushed to see another specialist in the same week who gave me a diagnosis, medicine, and actually listened to me. Everything Dr. Patel should have done. To make everything worse, Dr. Patel was twice as expensive as the other specialist.

The New York office has an issue with cleanliness. I went in for a procedure where I would have to sit on a surface - direct contact with my bare skin and the surface was dirty. The staff member didn't seem bothered by that at all, so I had to clean it myself. Dr. Patel herself seems to be a nice person but her staff is rude and doesn't follow up on simple inquiries.

Worst experience ever! Travel abroad just to see her, she did not even listen, and send me to do more studies. Was randomly talking about other things that didn’t relate with my condition. Said that she didn’t know why all bad cases happened to her. I was in shock with lacking of proffesionalism. I could not even ask her anything because she went outside to see my studies and never came back! Without saying anything, just send another person to make another appointment. I cant believe l travel just for that. Really rude.

Very attentive staff; everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nisha was especially helpful in explaining steps to getting my prescription filled.
