Dr. Dhanu Kapoor, MD

I called today, and the receptionist was quite rude, hanging up the phone before I could finish speaking. When I called again, the same thing happened. Upon trying to call back, no one answered. This is extremely disappointing and reflects very poor service.

1st ever call to this doctor-Walgreen's pharmacy online said to contact the doc for a refill.In response was told to call the insurance. They directed me to make the second call which was to ask for a prescription for 3 pills instead of 2 because the prescription was written wrong (by whom, I don't know). Mom ran out early as a result. 2nd call was to politely make this request. Following up a couple days later after not seeing anything different on the Walgreen's site, I wait for the doctor and she immediately starts yelling at me to stop calling, call the pharmacy first. You keep calling. I tried to tell her this was only my third call and it was necessary and she kept yelling and hung up on me. My 8 year old heard this all in the back seat because we were on speaker. I call back when I am calm to share that I felt disrespected and her receptionist lectured on calling and telling me not to anymore and that they didn't even know who I was. Hung up on me.

KAPOOR is arrogant and pompous. She gave us bad medical advice and charged over $500 for office visit. Worst doctor I’ve ever had.

She is best at her hob. She has been treating me for past 6 months and i am pretty impressed with the treatment she offered me. She is far knowledgeable than doctors i have visited before. Would highly recommend her.

She was really rude in person and also did not have any check up properly.

Dr Kapoor’s been my primary physician for over 10 years. I’ve found her to be professional, knowledgeable, and very conscientious. She is very straight-forward and honest which might be off-putting to some, but I’d prefer getting all the information. Her staff is professional and her message service available 24/7. Adhered to Covid requirements. I highly recommend.

I would like thank Dr Kapoor for a quick and timely appointment for my wife's severe backpain. The medication she prescribed provided quite a bit of relief. I am deducting two stars since the doctor's office staff can be more diligent about calling in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Our appointment finished at ~11:30am but pharmacy said there was nothing for us at 5pm !! Multiple calls to the doctors office phone at 5pm went to the answering machine even though office is said to be open till 6p

One of many concerning trends in Healthcare is the reduction of general practitioners. Another is that the fee-for-service model rewards volume over quality and time. With Dr. Kapoor, you not only get a caring, well rounded professional, but also someone who cares. Dr. Kapoor takes time to ask the questions to put you, the patient, first. Her staff has been super nice and professional. I never have a problem getting an appointment. I am glad I found Dr. Kapoor and her team.
