Dr. Devina Prasad, MD

My sister and I brought our 89-year-old mother to see Dr. Prasad today for help with what we believe was an overnight stroke. It was, unfortunately, a complete waste of time. Dr. Prasad began by complaining that since we had started working with a gerontologist for our mother, she would not be able to help her. She spent most of her time criticizing the gerontologist's staff's recommendations. She asked us what we wanted from her, and we said we needed her guidance. She was unwilling to provide anything of value, though I would assume she billed for the hour. I found her to be arrogant and I would not recommend her to a friend.

Dr. Devina Prasad has the worst bedside manor I've ever encountered. She seems agitated that she has to sit and listen to you. I'm in the medical field and know that a good medical history is vital in helping to make a correct diagnosis. She fails miserably in taking the time to attain information about your current complaint, or past medical history to perhaps aid in the current complaint diagnosis. She is extremely hesitant to prescribe ANY medications (she usually suggests trying somethin
