The rudest staff ever!!!!
When I arrived at my appt (2-24-25 at 9:00 AM), I was greeted by a rude receptionist who seemed more interested in eating her breakfast than waiting on a patient. I myself am also a doctor (and my wife is as well, and referred me to Dr. Gujrathi), and I have never encountered a receptionist either as a patient or as a doctor as rude as the one I interacted with. She seemed very impatient and told me that I had canceled my appointment. I explained I had cleared my patient schedule and waited for two months for this appt. I told her I most certainly did not cancel the appointment, and she assured me that I had. She told me there was an automated call and I must have pushed a button canceling, but I told her I have not answered a call from someone I did not know in years. I asked for her name so I could make a complaint, and she just shut the glass and said 'goodbye' over and over, refusing to give her name. Neither myself nor my wife will ever refer to this office again. Stay clear!

Post operative treatment
I’ve been in the medical field for quite a long time now working in different specialties primarily critical care.My wife had a tonsillectomy on 01/19/2024. Surgery went well. The issue has been that she is having a reaction to the pain medication prescribed post op. I’ve tried for several days to find a point where my wife is not overly sedated and not having this reaction. The doctor is refusing to change the medication to something less sedating and that may prevent this reaction. They told me to give a smaller dose, I have been. They said give acetaminophen, I have been. They said this is the only medication they’re able to prescribe after surgery, it is not. They also billed my insurance for tonsillectomy with adenoidectomy, they did not remove the adenoids.Between post op care and improper billing I would not recommend this practice.

Recommended by my Primary Care Dr Alvin Goldansky. He listens tentatively and takes time to listen to all of your concerns. I never felt rushed or if I was just a number.

Glad HE did Throat Cancer Surgery
A knowledgeable and communicative leader at one of worst times of our lives, when husband had throat cancer. He explains everything and keeps you from being surprised. His office staff is the best. After a long, full day surgery, chemo and radiation plus time, and life is great! When no other doctor, oncology nor GP, would look into why husband had no energy after all treatments Dr Gujrathy suggested and ran thyroid test, and he was right there too.

Went in for a deviated septum. Gujrathi recommended turbinate reduction and fixing the deviation. Healed from procedure very quickly, happy with results. Procedure was about 6 months ago during covid, so a test was required across the hall from his office. Everything was really convenient. During procudure nurses were very accomodating for my hate of needles. Found this site so I can recommend gujrathi to a family member.

I had a tumor in front of my left ear in 2008 that I had surgery on to have it removed. I noticed in 2019 it started coming back. I was referred to Dr Gujrathi and was pleased with my first visit as he reviewed all of my medical history before seeing me. He was very knowledgeable and had a plan that gave me 3 options for treatment. He didn't sugar coat my situation and gave me worst case scenarios. He also let me know that my first surgery the tumor was broke during removal and I now have several. He made a quick decision during surgery and and I couldn't be happier with the results right now. I am glad that I will have him looking after me going forward. He was thorough, kind, patient and polite.

I visited with last March. It was a very short visit and he barely let me explain. He was talking super fast and repeating himself over and over. My whole visit took about 5-6 minutes. He wanted me to open my mouth, he took a quick look and said nothing was wrong with me. A few months later, I received a bill that shows he has charged me $120 for Laryngoscopy! Direct or indirect laryngoscopy, I never received such a service!!! I am still shocked!! Avoid him at any cost!!!

At a check up two years ago, I told my family doctor that I had been having one nose bleed every month for about 6 months. He immediately made an appointment for me for the very next day with Dr. Gujrathi. Dr. Gujrathi was very competent and had a very nice bedside manner. He cauterized my nostril that very day and I have not had a nose bleed in the almost two years since then. I found this site until looking up his info for a friend to whom I had recommended him. .
