Amazing Doctor
Dr Fansler has been my Dr for years. I honestly believe that I wouldn’t be able alive without him. He doesn’t always tell you what you want to hear, but he always tells you what you need to hear. He doesn’t sugar coat things, but I think that is a good thing. He always takes the time to make sure all of my questions are answered and that I understand what is going on. He has done an ablation and installed a pacemaker defibrillator device installation on me. I am very happy with Dr Fansler and would recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely regret.
This doctor placed an ICD in my fathers chest and attempted a pacemaker. The pompous arrogance and completely inappropriate bedside manner was just the start. While explaining to me why he couldn’t connect the pacemaker, he said smugly “I realize you’re not a doctor and will never understand what I’m saying.” Centura health discharged my father soiled and dirty after this surgery. Left him on old meds that were making his conditions worse. Neither Fansler or his primary cardiologist in durango considered changing his meds for newer and better. Mayo Clinic AZ has thoroughly provided us with better surgical options (never mentioned by centura), tests never considered by these doctors, new medication that doubled his ejection fraction in just months, and some serious hope for my fathers remaining time on this earth. Shame on Centura, Carter, Fansler, and the Penrose nursing department. Run, don’t walk, away from this Doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Fansler for 2 years now, he listens, cares and answers all my questions. He did a Cardio Ablation on me and I had no fears going in. He did a great job. His staff are excellent and caring, again take the time to answer all question, they are always on time, and very patience with you

I was referred to Dr. Fansler by my original cardiologist to take a deeper look into the electric part of my heart. He was extremely rude, made me feel like I was silly for even being concerned. Said he didn't know why Dr. Kriekard was concerned. Also, made comments in regards to going off all other meds, like my acne ones, and said "eh, if you get more acne, oh well, that's not a big deal, right?" Told me to "not worry about what is going on." Also, insisted I have these other tests done even though he thinks there "nothing wrong." Why spend money on extra tests if nothing is wrong? Told me I don't need the beta blocker anymore. Said I will probably feel crummy during my episodes, but as long as I don't pass out, I'm fine. He was absolutely horrible and I hope I never have to go back to see him again. Oh, and to make it all better, he felt the need to lift up my shirt and look down my shirt using his stethoscope to check my heart. NOT NECESSARY.

I failed my husband by letting him take aspirin and too much medicine that Dr. Fransler recommended. My husband also had too many stomach problems for aspirin that should have been investigated. My husband was the best part of my life and this medicine put him in the hospital. Then Memorial Hospital used him for a science project for intern's and for money, We were trusting fool's. Do not let doctor's and hospital's to make decision's for you.
