if you have an urgent need for medical care and maybe try finding someone with a little more experience. other than that he's great for giving you a pill for a cold or something

After my sons physician left the waxhaw office I had no idea who we were going to see. My son had been with his Dr for 14 yrs., so he was hesitant about seeing anyone new. We are so glad we took a chance with Dr. Blackwell! He is very knowledgeable and understanding and makes us both feel comfortable while we are there! I wish we had known him sooner! It is rare now to find a Dr that is truly compassionate toward his patients, Dr Blackwell is just that! You will be happy he's your Dr too!

I started out seeing Dr. Blackwell when he was at the Fort Mill, SC location. He is very upbeat, fun, engages you to probe for detailed symptoms and always offers the right solutions/recommendations to help get you back on track. After he relocated to the Waxhaw, NC location, I followed him there. I have been receiving all of the right treatment plans ever since. He's a great doctor who I would highly recommend. I even drive from work in Columbia, SC just to see him.

I made a same day appt with Dr. Blackwell because my primary Dr. was not in. He spent a lot of time with me & really listened to my concerns, asked me questions, & discussed possible reasons for my long list of symptoms. I would absolutely recommend him!
