Sarcastic dismissive did not feel he cared first visit wish I could see others in the practice

My mother had a colonoscopy that was abnormal. Dr. Korte did not talk with my father after the procedure only my mom who was under the influence of anesthesia. Even though there are covid restrictions at the hospital, the Dr should definitely be talking to families after even if the scope is normal, which it was not in my mother's case. When my mom called his office for follow-up per his instructions, there is a specific line for results. My mother reached the receptionist who was very unsure of what she should say. "Umm there are some abnormalities and the Dr will have to call you" THEN Dr Korte never called my mom all day after the receptionist told her he would be calling her. The next morning the office calls my mom back and asks if the Dr ever called her. She said no, and then the receptionist told her "well he looked at the results and it's cancer " we'll have you follow up with the surgeon. This is all unacceptable for any patient but especially one with that diagnosis.

This is a fantastic doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He is kind, compassionate and extremely professional in his skills. I had been very nervous about having a colonoscopy. He calmed all my fears, did a great job, and I am very grateful.

After several tests I have been left with no answers and I am still in extreme pain. He basically washed his hands of me and left me in agony. No patient should be left in pain. He has no compassion at all. Even worse, despite repeated attempts from my doctors, they still have not received a report from him.
